Deeply rooted in North Alabama and passionate about the game, our team brings over 50 combined years of golf course management, instruction, and agronomy to Sunset Landing.
A Huntsville native and PGA Professional who turned a lifelong love for the game into a career spanning Pinehurst, Baton Rouge, and Austin. Greg has helmed the transformation of Southern Gayles since 2021. Now he's bringing that same passion and proven playbook home to Sunset Landing.
Michael Wilson began his golf course career in Indiana and gained experience at several renowned clubs, including The Olympic Club and Winged Foot. After studying Turf Science at Rutgers University, he worked on major course projects at Winged Foot and TPC Stonebrae. He later moved to Alabama, working at Southern Gayles and RTJ at the Shoals before becoming head superintendent at Sunset Landing Golf Course. Michael is dedicated to professionalism, innovation, and hard work while providing golfers with the best possible playing experience.
Matt has consistently elevated course quality at premier Alabama facilities — including Huntsville Country Club, Valley Hill Country Club, and even the Rocket City Trash Pandas. His science-driven approach to turf health and irrigation will transform Sunset Landing's playing conditions from the ground up.
Anastasia's journey at Sunset Landing began on the cart staff, where she worked her way up through the organization and developed a lasting connection to the course and its community. While earning her degree from the University of Alabama, she remained dedicated to Sunset Landing and continued to grow professionally, taking on increasing responsibilities along the way. Her commitment to the course and the people who make it special has kept her here, and she is proud to continue being part of Sunset Landing's future.
